Hi,
I work with students who think and learn in unique ways, and together we turn challenges into opportunities to grow—with plenty of encouragement and even a few laughs along the way.
My sessions blend strategy with play and are all about building confidence, curiosity, and skills that actually stick. We’ll use games, movement, and creative tools to make learning feel less like a chore and more like an adventure.
If you’re ready to take the pressure off and try something new, I’m here to help make the journey fun, doable, and genuinely empowering.
My Story
I’m a specialized tutor with a certification in substitute teaching and over four years of experience supporting students from kindergarten through early college in a wide range of math subjects. My instruction includes foundational elementary math (K–5), Math 6–8, Pre-Algebra, Algebra I & II, Geometry, Statistics, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, Finite Math, and Linear Algebra.

I provide individualized support tailored to each student’s strengths, learning needs, and executive functioning profile. I focus on breaking down complex math concepts into clear, manageable steps using multisensory strategies, manipulatives, and student interests to build confidence and deepen critical thinking skills. I’ve developed and delivered tailored lesson plans using multisensory teaching methods and assistive technologies to ensure accessibility and engagement for all learners.

With a background in systems engineering, I bring a logical, scaffolded approach to instruction that resonates with both neurodiverse and neurotypical learners. I'm passionate about making math meaningful, inclusive, and empowering—and I’m proud to walk alongside each student as they grow in understanding, resilience, and self-belief.

In my free time, I love researching and learning new things—whether it’s a random deep dive into something nerdy or just satisfying a curiosity of the day. I also enjoy chatting with my mom on the phone, taking naps like it’s a professional sport, and of course… eating. Eating is a hobby, right?

I love animals, I board pets of all kinds, and my house is basically a mini zoo. I’ve had all kinds of furry and scaly friends—dogs, cats, hamsters, lizards, and once even a very moody imaginary griffin (he kept trying to steal the snacks).
