Hi,

I draw from personal experiences as a neurodiverse woman and parent. For over a decade, I've helped students and parents navigate learning and executive function challenges, advocating for resources and accommodations. I empower clients through personalized strategies in working memory, reading, and writing to achieve academic and personal success.

It is nice to meet you!

My Story

As an educational therapist, one of my main goals is to create a safe and nurturing space where clients can freely explore their challenges and strengths. Through active listening and a focus on fostering self-compassion, I guide clients on a journey of self-discovery, helping them uncover their values and embrace their authentic selves. Genuine connections are at the heart of what I do, and I place great importance on building strong relationships not only with my clients but also with their support networks.

My approach is all about nurturing motivation, boosting self-esteem, and cultivating resilience in every client. I believe in tailoring educational experiences to meet the unique needs and aspirations of each individual, aiming to spark a deep passion for learning along the way.

In addition to my professional work, my core values of inclusiveness, honesty, and kindness serve as guiding lights in everything I do. I'm deeply committed to creating a welcoming and supportive environment for everyone, regardless of their background or identity. That's why I actively support late diagnosis women and LGBTQAI+ individuals, ensuring they receive the understanding and tailored support they deserve on their educational / career journeys.

Celebrating diversity and honoring the unique experiences of each person is central to my practice. Through compassionate listening and genuine respect for different perspectives, I strive to create spaces where every student feels valued, heard, and respected.

Inclusivity, honesty, and kindness aren't just words to me—they're the principles that shape every aspect of my work as an educational therapist. I'm dedicated to upholding these values and advocating for the rights and well-being of all those I serve, fostering a nurturing and affirming environment where everyone can thrive.

I am trained in various programs, including Motivational Interviewing, Brain Frames®, Seeing My Time®, Executive Function Skills, Visualizing and Verbalizing®, Structured Word Inquiry, Orton-Gillingham, Seeing Stars®, and mindfulness and meditation as a certified educator. Additionally, I am a trauma- and anxiety-informed educator, which enhances my ability to understand and support clients navigating complex emotional and cognitive challenges. These tools empower me to provide personalized, empathetic, and effective support tailored to each client's unique journey toward growth and success.

Outside of my professional life, I find joy in traveling, hiking, sewing, camping, weight lifting, cuddle with my dog, play with my boys, reading, and pursuing various hobbies. These activities enrich my life and provide a well-rounded perspective that enhances my work as an educational therapist.
