What to Expect?
Our services are grounded in a client-centered approach, where the client takes the lead, and we serve as a supportive guide, much like a GPS. Rather than directing clients on what to do, we collaborate as a team to set meaningful goals and address challenges together. We prioritize fostering mental imagery and problem-solving skills tailored to each individual’s needs. Recognizing that tools and strategies are not one-size-fits-all, we invest time in building trusting relationships and deeply understanding our clients to provide personalized support that drives success.
Our Sessions:
Executive Function Coaching and Educational Therapy sessions are a personalized, phased process designed to foster growth, build skills, and empower clients. Here’s a clear overview of what to expect:

Phase 1: Building Trust and Assessing Skills (2-3 Sessions)
We start by creating a warm, trusting relationship with the client through engaging activities and open conversations about strengths and challenges. The focus is on setting achievable goals tailored to the individual’s needs. This phase typically spans 2-3 sessions, but we’re flexible—especially for clients with anxiety—adjusting our pace to ensure comfort and progress. Parents receive access to shared Google Drive documents, and we provide updates via brief emails or 10-minute phone calls as needed. Concise email communication is appreciated for efficiency.

Phase 2: Laying the Foundation for Success (Flexible Duration)
This phase is a dynamic period of growth, where we focus on:
-
Setting and achieving personalized goals
-
Building habits and practicing executive function skills
-
Addressing areas for improvement
-
Fostering self-awareness and understanding brain functioning
-
Promoting self-compassionate language
-
Celebrating all successes, no matter how small, to boost motivation
The duration is tailored to the client’s unique personality, processing speed, maturity, and accountability level, with no rigid timelines. Clients will see tangible progress and develop resilience and lifelong skills. Progress updates are shared with parents or caregivers via email every 2-3 months.

Phase 3: Self-Advocacy and Ongoing Support (Tailored Transition)
In this empowering phase, clients develop self-advocacy skills for school, work, or other environments. Depending on their progress, age, and developmental needs, we may reduce session frequency or support clients as they “graduate” from our services. Throughout the process, we remain dedicated to providing guidance and support, and we encourage clients and families to reach out with any questions.
This structured yet flexible approach ensures a supportive journey toward independence and success, with open communication every step of the way.

Our team is highly skilled in employing evidence-based techniques to support client growth and development.
