Hello,

Based in California, I’m passionate about helping students feel successful not only in math, but in learning as a whole. Alongside my work in math intervention, I have a deep love for science and enjoy bringing curiosity, exploration, and real-world connections into my sessions whenever possible.

My work is also shaped by personal experience. Having a close family member with a learning difference, including dyscalculia, I understand firsthand the challenges, frustrations, and emotional impact that can come with struggling in school. That perspective allows me to approach each student with empathy, patience, and a true commitment to helping them feel capable and understood.

I strive to create a supportive space where students can build skills, confidence, and a more positive relationship with learning.

My Story

I’m a Multisensory Math Intervention Specialist with a Master’s in Education and a background in psychology, and I specialize in supporting students with dyscalculia, dyslexia, ADHD, ASD, and math anxiety.

I understand how frustrating and discouraging math can feel for both children and parents when it just isn’t clicking. My goal is to change that experience. I work closely with each student to help them build true understanding, confidence, and a sense of success in math—often for the first time.

I use assessment data and each child’s unique learning profile to create highly individualized sessions. My approach is structured, supportive, and multisensory, based on the Concrete–Representational–Abstract (CRA) framework. This means we don’t just memorize steps—we build real understanding from the ground up.

In my sessions, I focus on making math feel clear, approachable, and even enjoyable. I break concepts down in ways that make sense, meet students where they are, and celebrate progress along the way. I also track growth carefully so you can see meaningful, measurable change over time.

I’ve worked in both special education and classroom settings, supported IEP development, and collaborated with teams to ensure students receive the support they need. I’m comfortable working remotely and strive to create sessions that feel engaging, personal, and effective—even through a screen.

Most importantly, I believe that every child can learn math with the right approach. Helping students shift from “I can’t do this” to “I get it!” is why I love what I do.
